Managing a weekly reservation

How to turn a delivery into a template that repeats every week on the days you pick, and change or cancel the recurring series later.

Written by Julia Peter

A weekly reservation repeats a delivery route on the days of the week you pick.

Setting one up

Open a delivery request you already made and click Reserve weekly.

Under Repeats on, pick the days the route runs. The rest of the window comes filled in from that route and becomes the template.

Tick Only available to preferred and invited drivers to keep each route off other drivers' offers until 24 hours before pickup. This option needs an active support plan.

Click Create recurring reservation. The series starts on the date of the route you built it from.

When each delivery gets created

Each route is created 7 days before its pickup and goes out to drivers automatically. Until then it shows as Not activated. To create it earlier, click Activate.

Changing the template

Select any delivery in the series → click Edit recurring reservation → make your changes → click Review.

The template always takes the change. Tick any existing routes you also want to update → click Apply changes. Only the delivery routes created after the edit come out with the new pickup time.

If you edit a route on its own, this prompt appears for a few minutes: Attention needed — Your future recurring routes are different from this route.

Click Edit recurring reservations → click Apply on each field you want to copy into the template → click Review.

Ending or skipping deliveries

If you try to cancel a route that's part of a recurring reservation, this prompt comes up instead of the normal cancellation window: Recurring delivery cancellation.

Tick single dates to skip them, tick Cancel future activations after to end the series, or both. If the route already has a driver, you're also asked whether to keep or compensate them.
