Sharing a tracking link with your customer

Your customer gets a link for their stop automatically. Here's what they see, and how to send it yourself.

Written by Julia Peter

Every stop has its own tracking link. Metrobi sends it automatically, by text and email, at three points in the delivery route:

  • Package is out for delivery, when the driver picks up the products

  • Receiver is next in line, to the next stop's customer on the route

  • After package delivery, once a stop is completed

See [Delivery notifications] for more on these and how to turn them off.

You can also share the tracking link with your customer or other parties anytime. Click the ⋮ on a stop → click the share icon at the top → click the copy icon next to Tracking link.

This link goes to a Metrobi page showing the details of the incoming delivery, with live tracking, ETA, contact options, and a way to report an incident. Some options, like the proof of delivery and rating the driver, become available after the delivery is completed. Your customer needs a free Metrobi account to see the map or call anyone.
